Mimikyu's Pattern! (FREE)

Hey guys!

Today I brought what I promised, Mimikyu's pattern! *applause* haha
I want to share this pattern for free as it is a modification of a pattern that Tarturumies shared with the world, so I thought that the right thing would be to do the same.

While their version is 7 inches tall, I tried to make mine 12 inches tall.

So, without further interruptions, let's go!!

Terminology:
MR: Magic ring.
Ch: Chain.
Sl st: Slip stitch.
Sc: Single crochet.
Inc: Increase (crochet two single crochet in the same single crochet).
Dec: Decrease (crochet two single crochet together).
Rep: Repeat.
R: Row/s.
* *: Repeat instructions between asterisks as many times as indicated.

Materials:
→ Yarn (for crochet hook D) in: pale yellow, black, brown and red.
→ Thinner yarn to embroider its "eyes".
→ Felt for its eyes (the true ones :P).
→ Polyfill to fill our friend.

Tools:
→ Crochet hook (size D) .
→ Yarn needle.
→ Scissors.

NOTE:
· The numbers between ( ) at the end of each row indicates the total number of stitches that should be in that row.

R 13 - R 15: 5 sc, 1 ch, turn (5)

Fasten off leaving a long tail.

Fasten off.

Observations:
* The "1 ch" that appears before turning is simply to "climb" to the next row.
* To sew both parts, start with the last row (the thinnest part of the tail). Sew the sides. Before finish sewing, stuff just a little.

Tail.. de-tail (ha)

ASSEMBLING

1- Sew the ears to the head from row 4, counting from above.
2- Embroider the cheeks and mouth with wool using an image as a guide and a lot of imagination.
3- Embroider the eyes with the thinner yarn, also using a reference image.
4- Sew the black base to the body making th peaks mismatched (yellow, black, yellow, black...). Fill as you close the gap. Do not overfill or Mimikyu will tend to fall.
5- Sew the head to the body by placing it a little sideways.
6- Sew the tail close to the wavy edge or peaks and only the thinnest part, place it not centered, but a little more to a side (see photos for better reference).
7- Use felt to make the eyes and glue them to the body.
